The look of the screen on this one is not like a slot machine at all, but more that of a traditional poker table. The casino where we played, it was in green felt with a big Poker Slots logo watermarked in the background. The whole look was really elegant and easy on the eyes. The sound design for Poker Slots is very basic with white casino noise and a catchy jazz theme playing that will stick with you for a couple of days. When the card are dealing there is a sort of stylized card shuffling sound – it is not at all realistic, but it is a pleasant reminder that some action is happening on-screen. Even though this is called Poker “Slots”, it looks and plays like a table game, and that is great. All the familiar Vegas Tech table game controls are arrayed across the bottom of the screen allowing players to adjust the size and amount of their bets.
